Joke For My Fellow Science Nerds / Science *is* Sexy ;-)

You may not know it, but I had a "former life" as a science geek. And so, I have a joke to share with my geek chic freaks. :-)

A mathmetician, statistician and physicist all go hunting. They spot a deer in the woods and aim their bows. The mathematician fires and hits 10 feet to the right, the physicist fires and hits 10 feet to the left and the statistician yells ' WE GOT HIM!"

Source: Not sure if he made this one up or what but, it was posted by someone named Joseph Mckeen in response to another nerdy joke, posted by actor George Takei on his Facebook page.

On a more serious note, science & mathematical literacy are falling, as young people seek out a future of fame and fortune in the arts (nothing wrong with art but many people are not artists just as many are not mechanics or surgeons) - and, as if science is not sexy. This is sheer craziness - nothing could be sexier than a big brain coupled with a big heart.  (Christopher) Ashton Kutcher :-) agrees with me in the smart and thoughtful = sexy department, as he said in this kickass acceptance speech at (of all places) the Teen Choice Awards!  :)
